Happy 2009 everyone.
Many thanks for taking the time to check out the Little Brook Farm Morgan web site. Please tune in as often as you like during the year as we will be adding more horses to our sale site.

It is a hard realization that I am now at the age that I am on medicare and have to cut back some. I have to be honest with my self that I can no longer do as much work and it is not fair to some of the horses that I bred to keep that they do not get as much attention as they deserve.

 Winter in Vermont is never a picnic, not for the faint of heart. But we have come though it and can't wait for green grass but alas no foals for the next few years. I would like to cut back to 15 horses before I have any more foals. 

LBF Panama JAck and LBF Chivas Regal were sold in '08 and went to great homes. John Ohaus a repeat customer loves his gelding LBF Son Of A Gun so much that he came back for his half brother LBF Panama Jack,

Jebb Cuthbert was looking for a forever gelding to Hunt and do CTR's with and fell in love with Regal. I thank John and Jebb for giving these outstanding individuals great homes.

I plan to spend this summer working more on my dressage with my Morgan partners, Firefly, Queen and Lil. So check in from time to time on updates on some of these horses. Will also be starting a lot of our youngsters on ground work.

I am particularly excited that my Jr Stallion LBF Rhett Butler will be coming home from GA where he is being trained by John Hutcheson who owns Gabcreek Farm . John is just great with a horse , training them calmly and kindly. Do visit his web site www.gabcreekfarm.com and take a good look at all his gorgeous horses.

 I know that we have all been hit very hard by the economy, Some times I just want to sit down and cry. But There are people far worse off than I am and I am so grateful for what I have, not for what I don't have.

So with all that said, saddle up that Morgan of yours and go and have a fabulous ride or drive.
